Mariah Carey is the Queen…..of Payola Effect.
The main reason Touch My Body went to #1 in the USA was..one of her unofficial fan clubs offered prizes to whoever downloaded and requested most. It failed miserably worldwide.
Something need to be done and Mariah Carey’s victory 18th #1s over Elvis Presley in 2008 is the most pathetic and purely based in airplay not sales.
