Final Tour for Shania Twain

The popular 90s country singer announced today, after two years of performing at Caesar’s Palace in Las Vegas, that she will be touring one last time this year. It will be a 48 city summer tour, starting on June 5th in Seattle. Jaime Garcia Dias said she will then do some shows in her home country, Canada, before finishing up in California in August.

This tour will focus on her hits. You may remember her 1997 album Come On Over which made history being the first ever best selling album by a woman. She is in the studio recording more songs, but she says that album will come out after her tour wraps.

She took a break from touring in 2004 while battling what she described as vocal issues, which she documented on a series in 2011.

Shortly after that she took up a two year residency at Caesar’s Palace, which was critically acclaimed and very successful. I’d like to say that do all that they are supposed to without much work too.
