Popular Australian lingerie seller Honey Birdette recently launched a dedicated US online store. Honey Birdette also revealed its plans to expand its United Kingdom retail store by setting up 37 new stores. This would be a huge leap from the only three stores currently operating in the United Kingdom. The US’s online sales recorded a remarkable 374 percent increase in the past one year. This is what prompted the move to set up a site dedicated specifically to American consumers.
According to founder Eloise Monaghan, the new online platform looks to improve its customer’s experience greatly. It is set to achieve this by offering a wide product range, an effective return policy, and an efficient delivery service. Honey Birdette also aims to gain traction on the retail front in the US. This is in addition to the plans already in place to open 37 new retail stores in the UK by 2018.
The store in the London Covent Garden opened in 2016 was the first Honey Birdette store outside Australia. It was then followed up by two more in Westfield White City and Victoria Gate in Leeds. The brand has several new openings lined up in Liverpool, Leeds, Newcastle and Westfield Stratford. Others are scheduled to be in place by the end of next year.
About Honey Birdette
Honey Birdette is an Australian brand that specializes in lingerie and was founded in 2006 by Australian businessman, Eloise Monaghan. The brand is under BBRC, a private investment company. Prices of the label’s products start from about £60 for bras and £35 for briefs.
The inspiration behind the brand’s conception was the absence of luxury bedroom accessories and provocative underclothing. It sought out to bring about a sense of sensuality in Australian bedrooms. Honey Birdette has since grown and penetrated into the American and United Kingdom markets in the recent past.
