April 25th, 2008
Summer hasn’t even arrived yet, and Hot 97 is already beginning to build up the hype for Summer Jam. Today on the Angie Martinez show, the radio show host announced the lineup for this years Summer Jam. Including the headliners Kanye West, and Lil Wayne. Both artist attended last years summer jam, but Lil Wayne was the headliner while Kanye showed up during the show and battled Swizz beatz in a beat battle.
Sheek Louch and Styles P From the Lox will also be performing, while crossover rock rap group “Gym Class Heroes” will also be in attendance.
Along with these superstars, R&B artist T-Pain, Ray J, Rihanna, Yung Berg, and Dream will also grace the stage this year, and to top things off their will also be a performance done by Public Enemy. Source
Damn, what a hot lineup. Tickets for the show are gonna go like crazy, especially since it’s G-Unit and Curtis free. Better luck next year boys. Maybe you shouldn’t run your mouths so much.
