Had a customer call me after 18 years to check on a deck I did for them. Veranda decking from Home Depot. In the center of the deck the boards are splitting and cracking on the surface, and a few have split down the middle. Anyone ever see this with composite decking, in particular Veranda?

Any feedback on the 20v SDS hammer drill? Putting up some wood with tapcons, need a hammer drill and not sure if I want to go with an SDS to use for chipping later on or just grab a regular hammer drill. Thanks in advance.
